ABOUT US
Investigation for Water Resources (IWR) Division was formed on 18.02.2021 vide GO(Rt) No. 97/2021/WRD dated Thiruvananthapuram 10.02.2021 with its headquarters at Palakkad, by abolishing the existing Kuttanad Development Division, Kottayam. IWR Division is under the control of Chief Engineer, IDRB and the Director, F & AS, KERI, Peechi. There are two section offices under the division office, one being at Palakkad and the other at Agali.

ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMMES
Economically and environmentally viable irrigation projects are the need of the hour. The purpose of forming IWR Division is to conduct the investigation works for various irrigation projects, to carry out the pre-feasibility studies for multipurpose dams and to prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs). We aim to conduct a complete investigation of all type of projects along with other engineering departments in KERI.
